WHAT. A. GAME. Every time the 49ers take the field for a playoff game you know you’re about to see a show. But no one, and I mean no one, would have expected the 49ers Special Teams to be the star of the show to beat Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Blocking TWO kicks is an insane stat but to become the only team in NFL history to have their lone TD be off a blocked kick makes it that much sweeter. Are you not entertained??
Beating Rodgers in the playoffs has become the standard for the 49ers and speaking of teams we always beat….
Back to LA for Round 3 vs. the Rams. Does it not feel like this is our year? We continue to get matchups against teams we play best. Heading to Levi’s South, the 49ers couldn’t be more confident. I can’t wait to see fake tough guy Jalen Ramsey get absolutely run-over by Deebo (again) and jump up talking smack. If he can’t cover Mike Evans who I have a good shot beating in a 40-yard dash, Aiyuk and Deebo are going to run right by him. Expect Jimmy to have his breakout game of the playoffs and I’d expect Shanahan to come out throwing early and often.
I hope Stafford’s Wife was able to buy enough tickets so little Matty doesn’t have to go silent count at a HOME game. Sunday can’t come soon enough.
